J-7D
The J-7D is a modernized version of the J-7III (or J-7C) jet fighter developed in China in the early 90s, featuring a wealth of improvements. The D model receives a more powerful engine, an advanced radar, as well as modern air-to-air missiles and chaff and flares. Under the fuselage is a twin barreled Type 23-3 cannon with a rapid fire rate which can be lethal at close ranges. The J-7D can equip the PL-2, PL-5B and PL-7 air-to-air missiles, a variety of bombs, and even devastating Type 130-2 HE rockets! Overall the J-7D represents a powerful fighter and ground attacker, with its advanced missiles and CCIP for bombs and rockets it can pose a threat to any enemy. |
