A-5C
The A-5C is an export variant of the Q-5B strike aircraft developed in the early 1980s for the Pakistani Air Force, and also supplied to Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sudan. The A-5C is a powerful attacker with a high top speed and an impressive payload. It can carry a wide selection of ground ordinance including multiple calibers of bombs, small but numerous HEAT rockets, as well as powerful Type 130-2 HE rockets — all aided by a ballistic computer which predicts the impact point on the fly, allowing for very accurate strikes. The A-5C can also equip a pair of AIM-9P or Matra R550 Magic 1 air-to-air missiles, these combined with its two 23 mm cannons make it well suited for combat against enemy aircraft as well. The A-5C is a powerful strike aircraft very suited to swift, precise attacks, allowing you to quickly deliver your payload, and then go after enemy aircraft with your missiles. |
