Development of the VLT-2 was halted during the occupation of France, when the Germans captured several unfinished boat projects. After liberation in 1944, the hulls were reclaimed and work was resumed, finally being completed in 1945.

The VLT-2 is a fast motor torpedo boat, equipped with two 550 mm 19V torpedoes for use against larger ships. For aircraft and smaller vessels, it carries two 40 mm Bofors cannons, along with two additional 20 mm Oerlikon guns. It’s a very fast vessel, able to reach speeds of over 80 km/h, allowing you to swiftly navigate around islands to reposition and ambush larger ships if they stray into your torpedo range!
