Krieghoff FG Squad
The division was formed near Amiens immediately after the Allied landings in Normandy. The formed units, as part of the 15th Army of Army Group "B", were immediately sent to the front to repel the Allied offensive. The Krieghoff FG is an experimental model of a light multi-purpose firearm designed for use by airborne troops, presented for testing along with the FG 42. |
