Ether is the in-game currency that you can use to purchase the following unique items and services:

• You can exchange the currency for Gold in the in-game shop;
• You can use the currency to activate Premium access to the Battle Pass, as well as purchase its levels.

After the Catastrophe, interplanetary trade was on the brink of collapse. Transporting large volumes of gold between stations had become too risky, so the major Martian corporations collectively developed Ether, a secure digital payment system for large-scale interplanetary transactions.

The Ether ledger was distributed among thousands of independent nodes throughout the solar system. Ether does not rely on a single centralized hub and continues to operate even decades after the destruction of Earth. Many nodes have been lost, but there are still enough of them to verify the authenticity of transactions and keep the network running.

Corporations use Ether to conduct large-scale deals and to hold the primary share of their capital. The supply of Ether is strictly limited by the network protocol: it is impossible to create new units or forge existing ones. Thanks to its uniqueness and high liquidity, Ether is considered the most valuable currency in the solar system and can be freely exchanged for gold.
