Hawk T Mk 1A (FRP) is a light trainer and combat aircraft of the Royal Air Force. It combines high maneuverability, responsive handling, and excellent low-speed flight characteristics, which are particularly useful when flying at low altitude and making attack runs on ground targets. For engaging ground targets, the Hawk T Mk 1A (FRP) can be equipped with a 30 mm ADEN gun pod, SNEB unguided rockets, and various bomb loadouts. The aircraft is well suited for close air support: its excellent handling allows it to make precise attack runs and quickly change direction after an attack. |
