M3A3 (1st PTG)
The M3A3 Stuart is primarily a Lend-Lease model and saw service with China as part of the 1st Provisional Tank Group, where it saw conflict in Burma. A quintessential light tank, the Stuart boasts impressive speed and a rapid-firing 37 mm cannon. The gunner is also equipped with a shoulder stabilizer, which keeps the gun steady while slowing down. The M3A3 can reach a top speed of 58 km/h and maintains speed well off-road, making it great for getting into a strong position early in battle. It’s also equipped with smoke grenades, and while only a light tank, it offers enough armor to keep you safe from several weaker guns at longer ranges. Curtiss Hawk H-81A-2
The H-81A-2 is an export model of the famous P-40, developed by Curtiss-Wright. It was a prolific fighter in the CBI Theater and flown by the legendary Flying Tigers. A very solid fighter, the H-81A-2 is equipped with four 7.62 mm guns in the wings along with two 12.7 mm machine guns in the nose — you can also equip a 500 lb bomb under the fuselage. Due to having less weight in the wings from carrying lighter guns, this P-40 variant is nicely agile, able to dogfight effectively while still maintaining a good top speed of just over 560 km/h. It climbs well, has a good turning radius, and is overall an exceptionally versatile fighter. |
