Nagato — a Japanese battleship of the Imperial Navy, the first in the world to be armed with 410 mm guns. Commissioned in 1920, she served for a long time as the flagship of the Combined Fleet. During World War II, Nagato was part of the carrier strike force during the attack on Pearl Harbor and took part in operations near Midway and in the Battle of the Philippine Sea.

In the game, Nagato is depicted in its 1944 configuration, featuring improved weaponry and a strengthened anti-aircraft arsenal. The main battery consists of four twin 410 mm/45 Type 3 turrets. Increased elevation angles, combined with the excellent performance of the new Type 91 armor-piercing shells, allow this ship to effectively engage targets at long ranges.

The secondary armament includes eighteen single 140 mm/50 3rd Year Type guns and four twin dual-purpose 127 mm/40 Type 89 mounts. The anti-aircraft defenses are reinforced with numerous 25 mm Type 96 automatic guns mounted in triple, twin, and single configurations.
