Yamashiro is a battleship of the Japanese Imperial Navy, belonging to the "Fuso" class, representing a significant achievement in Japanese naval engineering. It was launched in 1915 and commissioned in 1917. During World War II, the battleship Yamashiro actively participated in naval battles, including the Battle of Leyte Gulf. The ship was also involved in rescue operations following the devastating Kanto earthquake on September 1st, 1923. It has a displacement of approximately 36,500 tons and is capable of reaching a speed of around 22.5 knots (41.6 km/h). The ship's armament includes twelve powerful 356 mm guns, arranged in six twin-gun turret installations. Additionally, it is equipped with sixteen 150 mm guns and six 80 mm anti-aircraft guns. The battleship's torpedo armament consists of six 533 mm torpedo tubes.
