J-7D
The J-7D is a modernized version of the J-7III or J-7C jet fighter, developed in China in the early 90s. The fighter was equipped with a more powerful engine, improved radar, as well as modern “air-to-air” guided missiles.The premium J-7D is armed with a 23 mm cannon Type 23-3. The suspended weaponry is represented with a “air-to-air” guided missiles PL-2, PL-5B or PL-7, unguided rockets Type-90-1 HEAT and Type 130-2, and also 250 and 500 kg caliber bombs. Additionally, the J-7D is equipped with chaffs and flares in terms of countermeasures. |
