It offers a good climb rate and speed but really excels when it comes to maneuverability, allowing you to beat the vast majority of contemporary monoplanes in a turnfight. It’s equipped with one 12.7 mm gun and one 7.62 mm gun, both of which can be fired together or independently. This particular P-36A was piloted by Phillip M. Rasmussen, who, despite having a jammed .30 cal and wearing his pajamas at the time, managed to shoot down an A6M Zero during Pearl Harbor.
